About Me

My creative passion started as a little kid with fine art. I wanted to write children’s books. I still do! I went to the University of New Mexico in my undergrad and started off as a Studio Arts major but changed that to Anthropology after I fell in love with the science of human evolution (I am also a history nerd).

After college, I traveled to India and Nepal with my soon-to-be husband for 5 months and then backpacked through Europe for another month. In India, we became trained yoga instructors and traveled the entire country, ate amazing food, hiked the Himalayas, and met some amazing people. During my travels, I realized how fortunate we are to have continued education at our fingertips. I decided to go back to school at our Community College and learn graphic design so I can promote my own work. However, this became a new desire to help other people promote themselves, their life events, and their businesses.

During school, I worked at a local climbing gym in Albuquerque, NM. There, I was fortunately encouraged to help the gym create event posters and promote their events on their website and through social media. My position grew and I was promoted to manager in 2015. As the manager, I had many responsibilities including overseeing and producing all marketing efforts through multiple media platforms, and at the same time, I continued my education and graduated with my Master’s Degree in Media Design from Full Sail University.

I left the manager position after having my first son. I wanted a new lifestyle that promoted my new family while allowing me to continue creative work so I started Maggie Kelly Designs, LLC. I continue to teach yoga at the climbing gym while staying home with my two boys and creating designs. I love meeting new people and helping even the smallest project come to life.

Let’s plan your creative move together.
